Introduction
Hello! Welcome to Azukania! Here you will find information about my constructed languages and scripts. Azukania (formerly known as Nslangs) has been around since May 2003.
My constructed languages
I have constructed five languages: Nihilosk, Indika, Gokim, Cannic and Træzü.
Nihilosk is my first language. It was created in May 2003. It is an a priori artistic language. It has an isolating grammar. It can be written in Anglesap and Roman scripts.
Indika is my second language. It was also created in May 2003. It is an a posteriori artistic language. It has a fusional grammar. Its vocabulary is based mostly on Hindi. It can be written in Indika, Devanagari and Roman scripts.
Gokim is my third language. It was created in July 2003. It is an a priori artistic language. It has an agglutinative grammar. It can be written in Anglesap and Roman scripts.
Cannic is my fourth language. It was created in May 2004. It is an a posteriori artistic language. It has a fusional grammar. Its vocabulary is based mostly on English. It can be written in Cannic and Roman scripts.
Træzü is my fifth and latest language. It was created in May 2011. It is an a priori artistic language. It has a polysynthetic grammar. The language is still quite incomplete and I am working on it. It can be written in Devanagari and Roman scripts.
Please note that I keep working on all my languages. They have undergone numerous changes in the past, including major ones. These changes will keep on happening in the future as well! Nihilosk was earlier spelt Nihilosc and Nijilosc. Gokim was earlier spelt Goquim and Gokvim. Træzü was earlier known as Stemba.
My scripts
I have created numerous scripts in my life - most of those I have just created for fun and forgotten! I have created four serious scripts: Nikhilipi, Anglesap, Cannic and Indika.
Nikhilipi was created in May 2003. It is an alphabet that can be used to write all Indian (Indo-Aryan as well as Dravidian) languages. It is partly featural. It works differently from Indic scripts. You can know more about Nikhilipi on Omniglot.
Anglesap was created in February 2004. It is an alphabet that can be used to write Nihilosk and Gokim. It is partly featural. Vowels are marked using diacritcal marks.
Cannic was created in August 2011. It is an alphabet that can be used to write Cannic. It has been modelled on European scripts.
Indika was also created in August 2011. It is an alphabet that can be used to write Indika. It has been modelled on Indic scripts.
I have also created a Romanisation system for Indic scripts. It is called New Nikhilipi. It was created in September 2005. It does not use special characters. Therefore, it is much easier to type than most other Indic Romanisation systems. You can know more about New Nikhilipi on Omniglot.
Please note that I keep working on my scripts. They have undergone several changes in the past, including major ones. And, they can undergo changes in the future too!
I do not like to maintain information about my constructed languages and scripts online. It is much easier to just play around with them offline. However, many people have shown an interest in my languages and scripts. Therefore, I think it is necessary to have a website with at least some information about them. The following pages are on Azukania at the moment. I hope to add more information in the future! Please note that this website is under construction. Therefore, a few things need to be added and edited.
It should also be noted that I use colour-coding on this website. English and Hindi are written in black. My constructed languages appear in green, when written in the Roman and Devanagari scripts, and in red, when written in my own scripts. Natural languages written in my scripts appear in blue. My scripts are displayed on your system using CSS3. This is supported in the recent versions of most browsers. If you see boxes or other characters instead of my scripts, then your browser does not support CSS3. Please consider switching to a newer browser.
